I'd like to register for a workshop but can't find one that works with my schedule.

 

Please register your interest on our contacts page where you cen email us direct or subscribe to the site. We are expanding all of the time and are currently looking at an additional night at The Jubilee Theatre and also expanding into a second venue, so we'll keep you posted of any class changes or additions.

I'm not a member but can I still audition for shows?

 

Yes, you can indeed. All of our auditions are open calls. If you are selected for the cast then you will be expected to become a member and pay the fee that qualifies you for that years membership.

Do you have an adult company?

 

We do. Second Act is our adult company resident at The Jubilee Theatre. We currently running an Acting & Improvisation workshop and plan to not only increase this but to mount productions from 2015. Please check out our new website for further information.

If I subscribe to the site will I be inundated with emails?

 

If you subscibe to the site you will recieve bulletins regarding workshops, auditions, events and productionsIf you are only interested in receiving production news please specify this on the contact page and we will add you to the production list only.

Which workshops would be best for my child's age?

 

The workshops that are age specific are listed as such on the website and also when you book them in the shop. If you would like to discuss anything further or get further advice please contact us via the contact page.

If I join halfway through the term do I still have to pay the full terms workshop fee?

 

No. Halfway through the term the price for students joining that workshop will halve. This usually corresponds with school half terms.

When is the annual membership due?

 

Membership is due at the beginning of every year and runs from January to January. Upon joining the first membership payment will be due immediately in whichever month you join. It will then be due again in the following January.

 

 

 

First Act Theatre is a registered charity (1027875) and receives no revenue funding from any local authority or arts body, relying solely on production revenue and donations to run and improve the theatre.
